Le Temps qui Passe

2023School project — DNMADeCinema 4D

The exhibition "Le Temps qui Passe" (Passing Time) explores temporality through five distinct works. Each piece offers a unique perspective on evolution, wear and transformation, underlining the inescapable nature of passing time.

Scenography

The exhibition is plunged into total darkness, abolishing any sense of time. Only the exhibited pieces are lit, emerging like illuminated fragments of history. The circular arrangement of the works invites visitors into a contemplative immersion at the heart of temporality.

Inspirations

This work draws on Daniel Arsham, who turns the past into contemporary art through partially decayed sculptures creating "relics of the future", and on Tim Noble and Sue Webster, who use everyday materials to produce striking shadows and shapes.
