Elegy is a Gallimard Jeunesse collection whose identity, imagined by Graphéine, unfolds a fantastical, fairy-tale universe — delicacy, depth and storytelling. I created its reveal motion.

My role
Animation of the logotype and graphic universe, and design of the main reveal motion. Gradients, transparencies and soft transitions build a poetic atmosphere. A slow, controlled pace, favoring subtlety and breathing room.
Context
Produced in one week. In hindsight, I would explore a procedural approach (Cavalry) for this kind of rendering — the gradients and transitions would be more natural and flexible.
